Ace Cash Express - Denied Service Request During Hours of Operation
On Saturday, March 29th, 2014, I had called an hour in advance to get all the information needed for a pay day loan, including the time the location will closing. The lady that helped me over the phone gave me all the information needed for this loan, and said that I have to be there 20 minutes before the location closes in order to get this advance loan processed. I am a return customer for many years, and 95% of the time, I use this specific location because of the convenience from both my home and workplace, and on this day, I felt like I was being mistreated unfairly. Not only was I the only person being treated this way and denied for services, several other customers were also on the same boat. After being told she will not be submitting/processing the loan request due to the current time (6:45pm), I walked out of the location, and I sat in the parking lot and tried calling the 800# immediately to report this, however, with it being a Saturday, customer service was closed.
When a location states close 7pm, then doors and hours of operation should stay opened and operated until 7pm, not at 6:45pm. I am a General Manager myself, and I don't ever lock or refuse to serve the customers that walk in the door before closing time, and with this being said, I also fell that customer service at this location was extremely poor, and for these being the MAIN concern and reason of my complaint and a total waste of my time, I will NEVER refer a friend to that location again after this experience. I am a returned customer for many years, and have observed both the good and the bad about the services provided...and I must say, this has to be one of the MOST horrible service I've ever received.
I was not able to get the employees name, because she was not wearing a name tag and was trying extremely hard to rush us (the customers) out the door before 7pm, so I wasn't able to include her name in this complaint. If you are able to view the cameras at this location, it will show how many customers she turned away at 6:45pm. This is NOT FAIR to myself, or anyone else that is physically in the building/store before closing time. Below are the information for a follow-up on my complaint. I do request that I get a call or email with your solution to this problem.

Thanks. I really hope someone will look into this, as I will like to see what the outcomes are, what the expectations from the employees and/or customers are, and the conclusion to all of this.

I used to work at an Ace Cash Express and they CANNOT refuse service to a customer no matter what time it is. If you come into the store at 6:59 they still have to assist you.
